‘Working for Safety’
SSC consistently works for Safety. Our advice is always focused on a safe operation. That is the added value of using SSC. Our advice is not about rules and procedures, these are at best only tools to get more grip on Safety. The question is: does it really work for Safety or not. Safety requires attention continuously. Safety will never be ‘ready’.
Our mission: Delivering added value for Safety to our clients.
We have experience in Industrial Safety for decades in many companies. We can compare and know what really matters for Safety. Our clients benefit from this and they know it. This is the reason for ‘once SSC’ , ‘always SSC’.
Parallel with Art
About five years ago, SSC organized a seminar: ‘The art of Safety’. Apart from the fact that we found that a nice title for a seminar, we also know that Safety is not an exact science. It requires the ‘Hand of the Master’ to paint the Safety picture in a Company.
The Art of Safety
Safety is complex. It is an art to continue to have a focus on the aspects that relay matters. Piet Mondriaan is one of the most important Dutch painters of the last century. He had a strong focus at the essence of what he was painting. He was continuously searching for the core: the rest is ballast and can be missed. That is exactly the route to Safety: get rid of the ballast, look for the essence. SSC is able to guide you step by step from a complex (fault-) tree (left painting) to a simple scheme (right painting) which can be implemented more easily with higher added value for Safety.
